Two ways in — and the person who built it answers the email

Leadmend AI is the platform: it builds your website, answers your enquiries and runs your automations, and you manage it yourself, from anywhere. Leadmend Studio is the same work built by hand, quoted per project. Every other vendor in this category makes you pick a lane — software you configure alone, or an agency that keeps your logins. This is one codebase with both doors open, and moving between them rebuilds nothing.

Built and run by one person, in Halifax, Nova Scotia — not a team. In practice that means no account manager, no support tier, and nobody between the person who sold you something and the person who can change it this afternoon. It also means there is no brand here for you to borrow trust from, which is why every claim below names the thing that enforces it. You can check them before you pay anything.

There is also a hand-set-up pilot for five businesses — sixty days, no card, and the setup done alongside you rather than left to you. It exists because nobody has paid for this yet, and the honest way to fix that is to be worth paying for first.

Same engine. Pick how much of it you want to drive.

The website, the AI that answers, and the routines behind it are the same in both. What changes is who does the describing — and starting in the wrong one costs you nothing, because there is nothing to migrate between them.

Leadmend AI

From $99 USD a month

The platform. You describe the business in a chat; it writes and hosts the website, answers your enquiries in your voice, and runs the routines you asked for. You keep the logins and change anything by asking.

Choose this if

  • You want it live in minutes, not after a project
  • You are comfortable typing what you want and reading what comes back
  • You are anywhere in the world — this does not depend on where you are

Leadmend Studio

From $1,997 CAD, one-off

The same work, built by hand. A call, then the site written around what you actually sell, the AI tuned to how you actually answer, and everything handed over on your own domain with your own logins.

Choose this if

  • You would rather hand it over than describe it
  • The copy has to be right the first time, not iterated in a chat
  • You are in Atlantic Canada, where this is delivered from

Six promises, and the thing that keeps each one

Anyone can write the promise. The second line is the part worth reading — it names the rule in the software, so you can judge whether it would actually hold at two in the morning when nobody is watching the AI talk to your customer.

It will not quote a price or promise a time

Hard rules in the reply engine, exercised against adversarial messages 30 times per rule on every audit run — because a rule that holds 29 times out of 30 is not a rule. The AI captures what the customer wants and hands the commitment back to you.

See the last run, rule by rule

Your customer is told they are talking to an AI, before they type

The notice sits above the send button on every published site, not in a disclaimer afterwards. The reply itself also says an AI wrote it and that a person will confirm details. Nobody finds out later that they were answered by software.

An opt-out cannot be forgotten by a new feature

The suppression check runs inside the send function itself, not at the call sites, so no message we send on a business's behalf can go out without passing it. If the compliance footer cannot be built — no mailing address, or a signing secret missing that would make the unsubscribe link dead — the send throws rather than proceeding: not sending is a missing feature, sending anyway is the violation. Every message also carries a one-click unsubscribe header, so Gmail and Outlook can offer it in their own interface instead of the recipient reaching for 'report spam'. And opt-out records survive the deletion of the account that created them — the database detaches them at the constraint instead of cascading, so no amount of application code can erase one party's withdrawal of consent by deleting the other party's account.

Your data is never sold, and never used to train AI models

Stated in the privacy policy, which also names every processor and what each one handles, including the ones that hold data outside Canada.

You can delete everything yourself, immediately

Account deletion runs from Settings and takes effect at once, rather than a support ticket and a thirty-day window. The one exception protects you: on a paid plan the subscription is cancelled first, and if that fails we stop rather than delete an account that is still being billed. What is kept, and why, is listed in the privacy policy. Leaving is not a negotiation.

Colour on a generated site is checked against the surface it is painted on

Every palette the AI chooses runs through a contrast guard before it reaches the page, and the test suite re-checks hundreds of randomly generated palettes on every run — body copy, headings, captions, the accent, and the hero, each against the exact band it renders on rather than the one it was derived for. An AI builder that picks its own colours can otherwise publish text nobody can read.

The five things we refuse to say

Most vendors in this category assert at least three of these. Ask the next one for the report, the measurement, or the customer’s phone number, and see what arrives. This is the list of what we would have had to invent to match them — so here it is instead, said out loud, before you have spent anything.

  • No SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any other certification. None has been assessed, so there is nothing to display.
  • No GDPR or CCPA compliance claim. Neither has been assessed. What is true — named sub-processors, cross-border processing disclosed, no sale of data, no model training, deletion on request — is set out in the privacy policy instead.
  • No uptime percentage. Nothing here measures it yet, and a number nobody measures is decoration.
  • No customer counts, logos or testimonials. The example sites are labelled as generated demonstrations and are kept out of search results for that reason.
  • Nothing phone-based, at all. Answering calls and texting customers needed a registered number under A2P 10DLC; rather than wait for it, the whole phone tier was removed on 15 August 2026. There is no date and no waiting list — website, form and email enquiries are what this answers.

If one of those is a dealbreaker for you, that is a real answer and you have it now — not in month three, from a vendor who let you assume otherwise.

What being early actually gets you

There is no customer count on this page because there is not yet a number worth quoting. Here is the other side of that, and every line of it stops being true later.

What you pay, and when

Plans are month to month and you choose one when you are ready — creating an account costs nothing. The Terms promise at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change affects you.

The person you email is the person who builds it

There is no support tier and no account manager to be escalated through. A reply comes from the one person who can also change the software that afternoon.

What you ask for is what gets built next

With this few customers, a single request is a meaningful share of the roadmap. That stops being true at some point, and it is true right now.

Common questions

What is the difference between Leadmend AI and Leadmend Studio?
They are two ways to get the same work done, from one codebase. Leadmend AI is the platform: you describe your business, it builds and hosts your website, answers your enquiries and runs your automations, and you manage it yourself. It is available anywhere in the world: free for 14 days, then $99 USD a month. Leadmend Studio is the done-for-you tier: the same website, automations and AI setup, built and configured by hand, quoted per project from $1,997 CAD. Most vendors make you pick a lane — software you configure alone, or an agency that keeps your logins. Here you can start in one and move to the other without rebuilding anything.
Who is behind Leadmend?
Leadmend Studio, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is built and run by Vatsal Solanki — one person rather than a team, which has a practical consequence worth knowing before you buy: there is no account manager, no support tier and no handoff between whoever sells you something and whoever builds it. It also means there is no brand here to borrow trust from, which is why every claim on this site names the mechanism in the software that enforces it rather than asking you to take it on faith.
How many customers does Leadmend have?
Not enough to be worth quoting, so no number is published and no logos are displayed. The example websites on this site are generated demonstrations, labelled as such, and deliberately kept out of search results rather than presented as clients. When there are real customers willing to be named, they will be named. What being early gets you in the meantime: replies from the person who writes the code, and a roadmap a single request can genuinely move.
Is Leadmend certified or audited?
No. There is no SOC 2 report, no ISO certification, and no third-party audit, because none has been carried out — so none is claimed anywhere on this site. What can be verified is in the code and in the published policies: security headers on every response, row-level access rules on the database, enforced opt-outs, immediate owner-initiated deletion, and a 72-hour breach-notification commitment in section 7 of the Terms. If a certification is a requirement for you, you have found that out now rather than in month three.
Where is Leadmend based, and who can buy it?
Leadmend Studio is in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The self-serve platform is available worldwide and does not depend on where you are. Plans are month to month, and you can cancel from the billing page whenever you like. The done-for-you Studio work is delivered from Halifax. Several of the processors behind the platform hold data outside Canada, principally in the United States; the privacy policy names each one.

The done-for-you tier and what it costs are on Leadmend Studio; what the software actually enforces is on Security; the Canadian consent rules for automated messaging are set out on CASL & PIPEDA. For anything else, email us at hello@leadmend.com — it reaches one person, and that person replies.
